My Home Town
My home town is a beautiful place. It stands beside a wide river and is rich infish and rice.
But in the old days it was a poor and backward little town. Many people had nowork. They lived a hard life.
In 1949 my hometown was liberated. Since then great changes have taken placethere. The streets have been widened. Factories, schools, hospitals, cinemasand theatres have sprung up one after another. The life of the people isgreatly improved.
I love my hometown. All the more I love its people. They are working hard so asto make it still richer and more beautiful.

我的家鄉(xiāng)

我的家鄉(xiāng)是一個(gè)美麗的地方。它坐落在一條寬闊的河邊，盛產(chǎn)魚和大米。

但在過(guò)去，它是一個(gè)貧窮落后的小鎮(zhèn)。許多人沒(méi)有工作。他們過(guò)著艱苦的生活。

1949年我的家鄉(xiāng)解放了。從那時(shí)起，那里發(fā)生了巨大的變化。街道被拓寬了。工廠、學(xué)校、醫(yī)院、電影院和劇院如雨后春筍般涌現(xiàn)。人民的生活大大改善了。
