When I hear that someone says, "My friend falls, I laugh; my phonefalls, I cry." I feel rather annoyed and surprised. What he says suggeststhat he cares little about others' pain or trouble, even if they're hisfriends. Moreover, it seems that he always thinks more of himself than ofothers.
Personally, it is completely wrong of him to behave with such an attitudetowards others and life. As a matter of fact, none of us can live alone insociety. We all depend on others sometimes to some degree. If everyone does andthinks as he does, he'll not live any longer in the world.
I argue that every one of us should try our best to help those in need. Then we can have someone to turn to when in trouble. Otherwise we'll have toanswer for our selfishness sooner or later. That is what the saying goes:"A friend in need is a friend indeed." Only when you learn to givecan you expect to receive.
