USA Pavilion receives 500,000 visitors
 

USA Pavilion in Expo site had received 500,000 visitors by yesterday.

Data showed that the pavilion received an average of 35,000 visitors every day. The pavilion was expected to receive more than 6 million visitors through the whole Expo 2010.

USA Pavilion Commissioner General José H. Villarreal said that he felt happy for the pavilion to have made such achievement in such a short time.

USA Pavilion staff expressed their gratitude to visitors offering positive comments on the pavilion, Villarreal added. He said that the staff will sincerely and warm-heartedly welcome guests from all walks of life.

The USA Pavilion, covering 6,000 square meters, is one of the largest national pavilions in Expo 2010.

The pavilion, with the overall theme "Rise to the Challenge," showcases American business and technology, as well as culture and values, to foster stronger friendship between the American and Chinese peoples.
