秘書：早上好。留學生辦公室。有什么事嗎？
Secretary: Good morning, International Students Office. May I help you?

學生：我想找主任談?wù)勏轮芪一丶业挠媱潯?br /> Student: I’d like to talk to the director about my plan to go home next week.

秘書：你是從英格蘭來的嗎？
Secretary: Are you one of the students from England?

學生：不是。我是從美國來的。我是去年五月來的。
Student: No. I’m from the United States. I came last May.

秘書：噢。主任下周一能見你。你想上午談還是下午談？
Secretary: I see. The director can see you next Monday. Do you prefer morning or afternoon?

學生：最好是上午。
Student: Morning is better for me.

秘書：9點行嗎？
Secretary: Would 9:00 be all right?

學生：很好。
Student: That suits me fine.

秘書：那好，星期一上午9點我們等你。
Secretary: Good. We’ll expect you then at 9:00 on Monday morning.

學生：十分感謝。
Student: Thank you very much.
