show grit ：拿出你的勇氣來(lái)，展現(xiàn)你的勇氣。grit 的本意是粗砂，很容易讓人感覺(jué)堅(jiān)韌、頑強(qiáng)。

e.g. <1>Once the team started losing they didn’t try anymore. They really didn’t show much grit.
這個(gè)隊(duì)伍一輸球就不再努力了，他們真的沒(méi)拿出勇氣來(lái)。

<2>You need to show some grit if you want to succeed in the rough world of business.
