D: I see. Is it a one-way or round trip?
Z: One-way.
D: How much is the ticket? Is the fare proportioned to the distance?

1.完整句子應為"It is better to take the subway." 為達到簡潔凝練的效果,省略"It is"。
2.to 在這里弱讀作/t?/。
3.這里指一種票價,換乘不必要額外購票。
4.don't 后面接輔音,t 不發(fā)音。
5.peak hours 指“高峰期”。

口語中.to在重點強調(diào)的情況下讀作/tu:/一般情況下讀作/t?/;to的后面如果接輔音,還可讀作/d?/;但當to用在句末
時,讀作/tu/。如:
