休閑英語對話：關于抄近道的情景會話

路人甲: Excuse me, could you tell the way to the city hall?

打擾一下，能告訴我到市政廳的路嗎?

路人乙: You can walk down this street and turn left the next corner and at the third block turn right and work for ten minutes and you would find the city hall.

你可以沿著這條街往下走，然后在下個口左轉，接著在第三個街區(qū)右轉，再走個十分鐘就能看到市政廳了。

路人甲: Oh, it sounds very far. I don’t have enough time.

哦，聽起來很遠，我沒時間了。

路人乙: May I know what you are doing there?

我能知道下你去那干嘛嗎?

路人甲: My father gives a ticket for the speech of a famous professor’s speech.

我爸爸給我了一張一個著名教授演講的票。

路人乙: I am going to there, too. Let’s take a short cut.

我也要去那里，我們走近道吧!

路人甲: A short cut? Great!

近道?太好了。

路人乙: Do you like the professor?

你喜歡那個教授嗎?

路人甲: I am not sure. I hope the speech would be as interesting as I expected.

我不知道，我希望這個講座能和我預期的一樣有趣。

路人乙: I agree. We should walk quickly, or we would be late.

我同意，我們得快點了，否則我們就要遲到了。
