實用英語對話:北方的雪

心濤：你看天氣預報了嗎?

洋洋：嗯，我今天早上起床時看了天氣預報，北京這幾天的天氣都不錯，沒有雨雪，也不很冷。

心濤：只要不下雪就行了，我有點兒怕下雪了。上次下雪時我在外面滑了一跤。

洋洋：下雪出門確實不方便。不過下雪也有下雪的好處。我是南方人，很喜歡看雪景。從小到大我都沒見過雪，所以對雪還是很向往的。而且看著世界一夜之間就變成了雪白色的，有一種生活在童話里的感覺。

心濤：美是美，不過下雪的時候挺冷的，你是南方人，習慣嗎?

洋洋：剛來北京時還真有點不習慣，戶外太冷了，室內(nèi)還好。

心濤：嗯，下雪時戶外的確挺冷。不過，在北京的室內(nèi)，到處都有暖氣，一點兒也不冷。和南方的冬天比起來，北京的冬天更溫暖。

X: Did you watch the weather report?

Y: Yes, I watched the weather report this morning when I got up. It will be pretty good these days in Beijing, no snow, no rain and not cold.

X: I wish there was no snow. I'm a little fear of snow. I slipped outside last snow.

Y: Indeed, snow makes it difficult to go out.But there are benefits snow brings. I come from the south and I'm fond of snow scenes. I haven't seen snow from childhood. Therefore, I'm always looking forward to snow. And when the world turns into a white world in a night, I feel like living in a fairy tale.

X: Yes, it's beautiful. But it is cold when it snows. You come from the south. Can you get used to it?

Y: I'm not used to it when I was just in Beijing. It's so cold outside. But the indoor temperature is farily good.

X: Yes. The outside is cold indeed. But there are heaters indoor. So it's not cold. Compared with the winter in the south, Beijing's wither is much warmer.
