有人擅長跳舞，有人擅長滑雪

A:And yourself? What are some talents that you wish you had?
你呢?你希望擁有哪些才能?
 
B:I wish that I could dance.I have no rhythm at all.
我希望我能跳舞。我完全沒有節(jié)奏感。
 
A:Yeah.

B:I feel so stupid when like if we goout or we listen to music, just look really goofy when I try to dance,
我感覺自己很笨拙,我們出去玩或聽音樂時(shí),我在嘗試跳舞時(shí)看上去非?；?
 
A:but feel like dancing soI still try,but it just looks horrible.
可是我喜歡跳舞,所以我仍會(huì)嘗試,可是看上去很糟糕。
 
B:Yeah,I wish l had more rhythm and the ability to learn dance moves,Iguess.
我希望我能有更多節(jié)奏感,擁有學(xué)習(xí)舞蹈動(dòng)作的能力。
 
A:Yeah,I would say that dancing is definitely a talent that some people
have.

B:Likewise, I do not have any rhythm so IIl join you on that same dance floor.Yeah.

A:Even though I like to dance,I don't dance very well.
雖然我喜歡跳舞,但是我跳得不太好。
 
B:Yeah.Yeah,I wish that I was better at sports as well.

A:I really like downhill skiing, for example,but I never skied a lot,like my dad,he skied professionally when he was young,
舉例來說,我非常喜歡高山滑雪,可是我沒有經(jīng)常去滑雪,我爸爸年輕時(shí)是職業(yè)滑雪運(yùn)動(dòng)員,
 
B:and I'm kind of bitter that he didn't take me up to the hills more than he
did
他沒有經(jīng)常帶我去山上滑雪這點(diǎn)令我感到不滿,
 
A:because if I had started at a young age I could be really good right now,but I didn't,so I'm a casual skier
因?yàn)槿绻乙矎男【毣?那我 現(xiàn)在可能會(huì)滑得非常好,可是我并沒有,現(xiàn)在我是業(yè)余滑雪選手,
 
B:but I really wish that I could be like better than average in something,especially a sport.
我非常希望我能在某件事上高于平均水平,尤其是運(yùn)動(dòng)方面。
