A: Abidemi, what did you do for summer break?

阿比德米，你暑假做了什么？

B: For summer break, I went to visit some countries in Asia.

暑假我去亞洲國(guó)家旅行了。

A: Oh, what countries?

哦，你去了哪幾個(gè)國(guó)家？

B: I visited Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and Myanmar.

我去了泰國(guó)、老撾、越南和緬甸。

A: Oh, great. What did you do in each country?

哦，真不錯(cuò)。你在每個(gè)國(guó)家都玩了什么？

B: In Thailand, I was there for about a week. I ate a lot of delicious food and I met a lot of many nice people. I loved Thailand, so I hope to return again.

我在泰國(guó)待了一周。我吃了很多美食，也認(rèn)識(shí)了很多友好的人。我喜歡泰國(guó)，我希望能再去那里玩。

A: What foods did you eat?

你都吃了什么？

B: I don't remember the names but I just remembered that they were all good. (Laughter)

我不記得名字了，不過(guò)我記得那些食物都很好吃。（笑）

A: Thai food is so good.

泰國(guó)食物很美味。

B: Yes.

對(duì)。

A: Did you go anymore in Thailand like the beach or the forest?

你有去泰國(guó)的海灘或森林嗎？

B: I was more interested in nature, so I traveled from Bangkok to Chiang Mai and Chang Rai, and I went trekking and rode elephants. So that was one of the highlights of my trip.

我對(duì)自然更感興趣，所以我從曼谷去了清邁和清萊，我進(jìn)行了徒步旅行，還騎了大象。那是我這趟旅程的其中一個(gè)亮點(diǎn)。

A: Oh nice. How long was the trek?

真好。你進(jìn)行了多長(zhǎng)時(shí)間的徒步旅行？

B: The trek was about a day. It was a trek for 2, 3 hours but then we also stayed overnight in a community in the hills. And then the next day, we trekked for a little bit to come back to the city.

大約一天的時(shí)間。徒步時(shí)間大約有兩三個(gè)小時(shí)，后來(lái)我們又在山上的一個(gè)社區(qū)住了一晚。第二天，我們又徒步了一小段距離，返回城區(qū)。

A: Nice. So was Thailand the first stop?

不錯(cuò)。泰國(guó)是你旅行的第一站？

B: Yes. It was my first stop. It was supposed to be the shortest stop but I loved it so much that I spent more time there.

對(duì)。泰國(guó)是第一站。按照我原本的計(jì)劃，我在泰國(guó)停留的時(shí)間是最短的，不過(guò)因?yàn)槲姨矚g泰國(guó)了，所以我延長(zhǎng)了在泰國(guó)的時(shí)間。

A: After Thailand, where did you go?

泰國(guó)之后你去了哪里？

B: From Thailand, I moved on by land to Laos.

離開(kāi)泰國(guó)以后，我從陸路去了老撾。

A: And what did you do in Laos?

你在老撾做了什么？

B: In Laos, I mainly was in the northern part of the country, and I went zip-lining.

我主要在老撾北部地區(qū)游玩，我玩了高空滑索。

A: Oh fun!

哦，那很好玩！

B: It was fun. So—

是很好玩。

A: So zip-lining is going flying from tree to tree?

高空滑索是不是從一棵樹(shù)滑翔到另一棵樹(shù)？

B: That's correct. So that was about two days' worth of zip-lining, and we stayed overnight in a big tree house.

沒(méi)錯(cuò)。我們玩了兩天的高空滑索，在一個(gè)大樹(shù)屋上住了一晚。

A: Oh, how fun.

哦，真有意思。

B: It was quite an experience.

那是一次難忘的經(jīng)歷。

A: Nice.
