為什么打算辭職？新職位是什么

A: Hi, Mary, can I have a minute?
 
瑪麗,我能和你說會(huì)兒話嗎?
 
B: sure, what's up?
 
當(dāng)然了,怎么了?
 
A: well, actually I want to tell you that I've put in notice.
 
我其實(shí)就是想跟你說我辭職了.
 
B: really? Why?
 
真的?為什么?
 
A: many reasons. I've been here for too long. Next year will be my five-year anniversary. I want a change of setting. Besides, our company is downsizing. I don't want to stay on just to be let go.
 
有很多原因.我在這里待的時(shí)間太長了,帶明年就滿五年了,我想換一下工作環(huán)境.而且公司要精簡人員了,我可不想最終被裁掉.
 
B: but they wouldn't lay you off! You are the most experienced project manager in the company.
 
但是他們肯定不會(huì)裁你的.你可是我們公司最有經(jīng)驗(yàn)的項(xiàng)目經(jīng)理啊!
 
A: maybe. But that's not kept the new boss from berathing down my neck. To be honest, I've got a better offer from another company.
 
也許吧.但是即使是這樣,我們的新頭兒還總是盯著我,我實(shí)在是厭倦了被奴役的感覺.而且,實(shí)情是,我被另一家更好的公司錄用了.
 
B: oh that's great, congratulations! What's your new position?
 
哦,真不錯(cuò),祝賀你!你的新職位是什么呢?
 
A: senior director of market research. In addition to a nice pay rise it has some nice perks, like a company car, one month paid vacation,and an apartment downtown. And it's an international company so I'll have lots of chances to travel and meet new people. I'm really looking forward to it.

B: sounds a great opportunity. I bet that made the decision to leave a lot easier.
