　　本篇文章出自《世界觀察》(World Watch)，主要解釋了能源不可能快速變更的原因。文章首先介紹了能源以能量體系的形式存在，對(duì)大體概念進(jìn)行介紹。接下來文章分別介紹了technological momentum(D段至H段)。Labor-pool momentum(I段)和economic momentum(J段)。最后兩段作為總結(jié)，重申不能快速改變的原因和我們對(duì)這個(gè)話題應(yīng)持有的態(tài)度。

　　在介紹technological momentum時(shí)，有l(wèi)ighting作為例子，屬于較為重要的段落。應(yīng)該在閱讀時(shí)著重注意。而且本次考試中出現(xiàn)了1個(gè)段落對(duì)應(yīng)2個(gè)題目的情況(G對(duì)應(yīng)50和52題)。這是本次考試的難點(diǎn)之一。

　　解決匹配型考試，仍然要用到查找關(guān)鍵詞(key words)和同義復(fù)述(paraphrase)兩種解題技巧。比如47題中的“training of professionals and skilled labor”對(duì)應(yīng)I段的“a supply of trained talent ”。55題中的“Physical characteristic of moving objects”對(duì)應(yīng)B段第一句的“moving objects have two characteristics…”等等。
