我們在做英語四級復(fù)合式聽寫題時,可以根據(jù)空邊上的詞和語境來猜測填入詞的詞性。在這里我主要帶大家看一下 “平行結(jié)構(gòu)” 的強大作用。注意這里所提到的平行結(jié)構(gòu),是和空當(dāng)中的詞具有相同作用的詞或短語。我們在做此類題的時候,應(yīng)該有一個找“平行結(jié)構(gòu)”的意識。
以2010年6月四級真題為例:
Almost every child, on the first day he sets foot in a school building, is smarter, more______ (36) ,
我們看到上面的句子里面, smarter 和 more , 修飾同一個主語child,
我們可以判斷空中需要填的應(yīng)該是一個形容詞原級,他與more一起組成了形容詞比較級形式。而且根據(jù)形容詞比較級的變化特征,這個形容詞應(yīng)該是三個或三個以上音節(jié)。
better at finding and ______ (37) things out,
我們現(xiàn)在找37空的平行結(jié)構(gòu),非常容易,兩個詞用了一個and連接,很顯然finding和37空不僅詞性相同,我們所填入的還應(yīng)該是一個 “-ing” 形式的動詞與finding 對應(yīng)。

又看到了一個就為的 “and” 連接兩個詞,不用解釋你也知道38空與 persistent詞性相同

看到了嗎?第39空也不例外。

第40空,我們找平行結(jié)構(gòu)的時候要看一下and前面的短語 “paying close attention to” 我們可以推斷 “and” 后面也是一個短語,而且根據(jù)我們的結(jié)構(gòu)這個動詞短語應(yīng)該與paying對應(yīng)也是一個 “-ing” 動詞。
看到這里,也許你已經(jīng)意識到,在這類題目中,我們所說的“平行結(jié)構(gòu)” 考點非常普遍,他們一般是短語或詞,要么用“and” 連接,要么以排比并列句等形式出現(xiàn)??忌谧鲱}的時候如果能正確的把它分辨出來,必定對我們有很大的幫助。
