Coldplay是英國搖滾樂壇進入新世紀之后崛起的最受歡迎的搖滾樂隊之一，他們秉承了英式搖滾樂隊一貫的風格，成為了英國新一代樂隊中的杰出代表。 Coldplay由四個二十歲出頭的年輕小伙子組成，1996年時在UCL(University College London)四人相遇，兩年后決定合組此樂團。Coldplay樂隊成軍之后的每一張專輯都不斷進步，一步一步地擴大他們的影響，目前他們正處于事業(yè)的 快速上升期。
