Hi, my name is William. I am from the USA and live and teach in South Korea. I have been drawing one comic every day since October 2013.

I have been drawing since I was a kid and have always wanted to be a cartoonist. Greats like Bill Watterson (who made Calvin and Hobbes) have always inspired me to make art that was creative and meaningful.

我從小就畫畫，一直想成為一名漫畫家。像比爾·沃特森這樣的偉人(他創(chuàng)造了加爾文和霍布斯)一直激勵著我創(chuàng)作富有創(chuàng)造性和意義的藝術。

A lot of people ask me how I come up with my ideas. Sometimes, I get inspiration from my life experience or conversations with friends. Other times I have a sudden thought that I write down to use later. Typically, I just start drawing, and an idea naturally comes to me.

很多人問我的想法是怎么來的。有時，我從我的生活經(jīng)歷或與朋友的交談中得到靈感。有時，我突然有了一個想法，我把它寫下來以后用。通常，我一開始畫畫，一個想法就自然而然地出現(xiàn)了。

Although I am inspired by many other talented artists, I try to make only original comics and only use my own style. It is not easy!

雖然我受到許多其他有才華的藝術家的啟發(fā)，但我盡量只創(chuàng)作原創(chuàng)漫畫，只使用我自己的風格。這并不容易!

My process is to take out my drawing tablet, sit down, and start drawing. I know it doesn't sound very exciting, but routine works for me.

我的過程是拿出我的畫板，坐下來，開始畫畫。我知道這聽起來不是很令人興奮，但例行公事對我很有用。

I wish for my comics to connect to others in a way that makes them realize that we all feel much of the same ups and downs in life. I hope you like them!
