　　1.ball n. 舞會(huì)

　　A: Hi, girls. Wow, don't you look sharp? You two will be the belles of the ball.

　　B: Thank you #ar saying so, Dad.

　　2.band n. 樂隊(duì)

　　A: That hand is playing good music. Shall we dance?

　　B: Fine. What do you call this, a slow dance?

　　A: Who would you name as the greatest composer of that time?

　　A: Let's，to the dance hall.

　　B: You know how it is. Some things one just doesn't miss. Anyway, I was admiring your gracefulness at the time.

　　9.introduce v. 介紹.邀請

　　A: I'm Louis. May I introduce you to this new dance?

　　A: What's your favorite kind of music? Do you like jazz?

　　A: Are you familiar with all those other dances like the mashed potato, monkey, horse, fish and soul?

　　B: I haven，t heard of them before. The only modern dance I'm familiar with is the twist.

　　A: The orchestra has finished for now. The rock band will be playing for a half-hour. Now it's a good time to take's rest.

　　A: I think nothing is more romantic than a tango.
