　　Dear Sam,

　　Thanks a lot for your help. I’m sure the apartment you found will do fine, but as it happens, I’ll be making a trip up to Denver the week after next, so I can do as you suggest and take a look at the place. Of course, if you’ve found any other place, I’ll check those out, too.

　　I’ll be arriving on the morning of March 2nd. After I take care of business, I should be free in the afternoon to look at apartments and, of course, I’ll buy you that dinner in the evening. I have to fly back at 9 PM, or I’d buy you a beer at your favorite pub as well.

　　字詞解說：

　　1. sure 確信的

　　be sure-that從句 確信……

　　例;The coach is sure that his team will win the game.

　　2. make a trip ( up/down ) to+地方名詞 到某地去旅行

　　=take a trip (up/down) to+地方名詞

　　注意:

　　此處的up或down乃指從緯度低的地方到高的地方去，或從

　　緯度高的地方到低的地方去，故從本文中可推知Nick是住在

　　美國南部，所以他才使用make a trip up to以表示要到較北部

　　的Denver去。
