1.Attorney 律師

A: Why do we call our lawyer an attorney?

B: Attorney is a more formal and respectable name for a lawyer.

A：我們?yōu)槭裁垂芪覀兊穆蓭熃衋ttorney呢？

B：Attorney是對(duì)律師的正式的尊稱。

2.Accuse 控告

A: Did his brother accuse him of mailing bombs?

B: Yes. His brother did the right thing. Or he will kill more people.

A：是他哥哥控告他郵寄炸彈的吧？

B：是的，他哥哥做得對(duì)，要不然他會(huì)害死更多的人。

3.Arrest 逮捕

A: Did he get arrested in South Carolina?

B: Yes.How amazing. It was more than a thousand miles away from where he committed the crime.

A：他在南卡洛林娜州被逮捕的吧？

B：是的，真神奇啊，距離他犯罪的地方有一千多英里。

4.Civil Court 民事法庭

A: What is a Civil Court?

B: Civil court is different from a Criminal Court. It deals with the cases where no crimes are involved.

A：什么是民事法庭？

B：民事法庭與刑事法庭不同，專門受理不是刑事犯罪的案件。

5.Court appeal 上訴

A: Why do the sentenced appeal?

B: If they think the court judgement is not right, they can appeal with certain time.

A：判刑的人為什么要上訴？

B：如果他們覺(jué)得法官的判決不對(duì)，他們可以在指定時(shí)間提出上訴。
