[00:14.62]There are innumerable books in this world [00:16.81]which will answer all your “How to?” questions. [00:20.31]Once you read a book, [00:21.63]you just don’t run your eyes through the lines, [00:24.36]but even your mind decodes it and explains it to you. [00:27.86]The interesting part of the book [00:29.28]is stored in your mind as a seed. [00:31.47]This seed will unknowingly be used by you [00:33.87]in your future to develop new ideas. [00:37.27]The same seed if used many times can help you link [00:39.67]and relate a lot of things, [00:42.73]of which you would have never thought of [00:44.81]in your wildest dreams! [00:46.89]This is nothing but creativity. [00:49.41]More the number of books you read, [00:51.60]your mind will open up like never before. [01:04.50]The Pleasure of Reading [01:06.36]All the wisdom of the ages, [01:08.00]all the stories that [01:09.21]have delighted mankind for centuries, [01:11.61]are easily and cheaply available [01:13.36]to all of us within the covers of books [01:16.53]but we must know how to avail ourselves [01:18.17]of this treasure and how to get the most from it. [02:10.46]Reading is pleasure of the mind, [02:12.43]which means that it is a little like a sport: [02:14.84]your eagerness and knowledge and quickness [02:16.59]make you a good reader. [02:18.66]Reading is fun, not because [02:19.97]the writer is telling you something, [02:22.49]but because it makes your mind work. [02:24.90]Your own imagination works along with [02:26.65]the author’s or even goes beyond his.
