The subject that I disliked the most was politics when I was a high school student. I attended my high school in my hometown, a small village in south China. My teacher of this subject was a short thin mid-aged man who worshiped the former communist leader Chairman Mao. Whenever he needed an example in his class, he often cite the events happened to that figure. He was very excited when talking about that leader, but I did not interested in him at all.

To be honest, this subject was not very difficult, since the only thing I needed to do was remembering the material. But I don’t think I did well in it because of my negative attitudes towards it. One of major topics of it was the revolutionary process in early decades of the 20th century. It also talked what the Marx contribution to human history was, why the socialism was superior to capitalism, how the Communist party won the civil war in China. These are totally nonsense. I had never seen that China government did well in terms of administration or welfare of the public, which I thought to be the first priority of a government. These were the most important reasons why I did not like this subject.

I believe most of China's young students do not like it. Unfortunately, we have to learn it during our best time in lives thanks to demand issued by the government.
