1.Do you like to write letters and/or emails?

Sure, I love writing letters to my pen pals in different countries. I think it’s a great tool for keeping in touch with friends. In my opinion letters are even better than phone calls for some things, like for example, if you are dealing with a touchy subject, a letter gives you the time to compose your message carefully.

2.Do you think emails are useful?

No, I don’t think so. Well, it feels kind of cold blooded in some situations. I feel totally different when I receive a birthday card through the post, compared to an e-card by email. Although it’s fast, and convenient, it wrecks the friendship at some point.

3.What sorts of letters (or emails) do you think are the most difficult to write?

Um… I suppose, I think persuasive letters are the most challenging kind of letter to write because you have to persuade the reader to believe what you say. Sometimes, your idea may be totally different from what they originally think or believe.

4.Do you prefer to write letters or emails?(Why?)

I’ll go for letters. I love to write things by hand and to buy pretty stationery, stickers and commemorative stamps. Maybe, I’m the only one who still sticks with the old fashioned way.

5.Do you think email might one day replace handwritten letters?

It probably will. Maybe no one will choose to write by hand if they have a keyboard. I think handwriting will eventually disappear and become a thing of the past. To be honest, I can’t remember how long it’s been since I picked up a pen and wrote something.
