To Suffer More, or Not?
David:What’s your major?
You:英語。English.
David:What year are you in?
You:I am in Grade Four this year.
David:In the United States, each university year has a different name: freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior.
You:I don’t like to suffer more than I need to. Many students suffer from the heavy workload.
David:Suffer? I mean sophomore, not suffer more. I am saying the second year: sophomore. Oh, maybe you suffer every year? 我是說sophomore(二年級學生),不是suffer more(更辛苦)。
You:That is what I mean. But I like this year better than others. We don’t have any schoolwork, and we can study on our own.
David:I think many students , English majors in particular, look for language exchange partners. How about you?
David:Oh. 哦。
