There are many times during the course of your day when one aspect of your life enters into another place of your life. The work place is no place for your home life to venture into. When it does, your work suffers and you can risk losing your job. The problem for many people is that they can not leave work at work. When you are supposed to be enjoying your home life and you can not seem to stop working, whether it is physically or mentally, you will not enjoy anything. You need to find and keep balance in your life. A balance between your work life and your home life is the key to being happy.
Start your day by taking care of the little things at home that need your attention. Perhaps you need to plan out when you will be picking the children up from soccer practice. Or maybe your home life is about telling your family what you expect them to accomplish before you get home from work. Whatever the part of your home life that needs tending to, make sure you take care of it before you leave for work. If you take care of your home needs, they will not venture into your work day.
When you get to work, put yourself into work mode. This is the time that you shut off the part of your brain that is constantly worrying about your home life. When you are at work, you need to be productive. To be productive, you need to focus completely on your job. This productivity will help you to get all of your work done so that you do not have to take any work home with you.
At the end of your work day, clear off your desk and file away all of your work for tomorrow. This clearing off of your desk will help to clear work off your mind. As you drive home, end all thoughts that you have about your work day and what you did or did not accomplish. One of the best ways to do this is to play some upbeat music in the car on the drive home.
While you are enjoying your home life, do not let work intrude on it in any way. Do not check your work email or answer any work related phone calls.

     Simplify Your Life 生活簡單化
Life tends to get pretty complex, especially for fathers trying to balance so many demands. I was inspired recently by a friend and his wife who set about to simplify their lives and to make more time for the things that were really important to them. He felt that his life and work had never been more balanced than when he started to simplify. This article talks about the whys and hows of getting back to a simpler approach to daily living.

Rainbow is seen as colorful and cheerful.
So, rainbow clan refers to people who are good at finding a balance between work and life.
They have a balanced and healthy diet, do physical exercises regularly, get enough sleep, and work with high efficiency.

"Never make yourself a slave to wealth, enjoy every minute of your life" is their motto.
In their eyes, career advancement and wealth accumulation coming from overtime working and bad health is just like pursuing one of the seven colors from a rainbow, it's by no means a worthwhile way of life.
Work isn't separate from life - it's a part of it.
When people talk about a work-life balance, they mean that we should find a balance between work and our personal lives, which is definitely true.
Some things might be big commitments that are hard to get out of- but over time, you can get out of them.
I suggest scheduling everything but work first (unless you're on a set work schedule and always start and end at the same time) ... this will ensure that you get everything in and that work doesn't overwhelm the schedule.
Be sure not to over schedule, filling up every free minute, because no schedule is kept to the minute.
Sister Jean C. Peters, CSJ says in the CSJ Newsline:"I do not suggest that hard work has no place in our lives, but it can not have the only place."
How do we achieve balance in our lives? It takes planning and it takes action.
     Flexible schedule is another option.
It is important to take the time to consider our options and to evaluate the choices so that we have time to work, time to play and time to make sure our life is as fulfilling as it can be.

Concerns over days off don't indicate that the jobseeker is lazy or unmotivated, as long as the issue is raised in a skillful way.
If your boss drops a mammoth, urgent project in your lap, ask which other tasks he'd like you to delay in order to get it done on time. Don't pull multiple all-nighters to finish the extra work on top of your regular job.
You have managed to find a balance between work and personal life and it doesn't involve losing too much time with either one.
