1.there be的時態(tài)

There is still room for improvement.還有改進余地。（一般現(xiàn)在時）

There is going to be/will be an English film tonight.

今晚將有一場英語電影。（一般將來時）

There was a lot to be done.有很多事要做。（一般過去時）

There have been a lot of inquiries.提出的詢問有很多。（現(xiàn)在完成時）

There had been many such occasions.曾有許多這種情況。（過去完成時）

Then there would be endless quarrels.那么會有吵不完的架。（過去將來時）

2.there be的被動語態(tài)

There is said to be plenty of oil off our coast.據(jù)說我國沿海有大量的石油。

There are known to be thousands of different species of beetles.

眾所周知，甲蟲有幾千種。

There is expected to be an announcement about the building next month.

預計會在下個月公布要建大樓的計劃。
