Once upon a time there was a small island on which lived Happy, Sad, Knowledge and Love.

One day, feeling that the island was about to sink, they were ready to ship, leaving the island. Only Love to stay, she wanted to hold on until the last minute. After a few days, the small island really began to sink, and Love would like to be helped.

從前有一個(gè)小島，上面住著快樂(lè)、悲哀、知識(shí)和愛(ài)。

一天，得知小島快要下沉了，大家都準(zhǔn)備船只離開(kāi)小島。只有愛(ài)留了下來(lái)，她想堅(jiān)持到最后一刻。過(guò)了幾天，小島真的要下沉了，愛(ài)想請(qǐng)人幫忙。

這時(shí)，富裕乘著一艘大船經(jīng)過(guò)。愛(ài)說(shuō)：“富裕，你能帶我走嗎?”富裕答道：“不，我的船上有許多金銀財(cái)寶，沒(méi)有你的位置。”

悲哀過(guò)來(lái)了，愛(ài)向她求助：“悲哀，讓我跟你走吧!”“哦，愛(ài)，我實(shí)在太悲哀了，想自己一個(gè)人呆一會(huì)!”悲哀答道。

快樂(lè)走過(guò)愛(ài)的身邊，但是她太快樂(lè)了，竟然沒(méi)有聽(tīng)到愛(ài)在叫她!

突然，一個(gè)聲音傳來(lái)：“過(guò)來(lái)!愛(ài)，我?guī)阕摺?rdquo;這是一位長(zhǎng)者。愛(ài)大喜過(guò)望，竟忘了問(wèn)他的名字。登上陸地以后，長(zhǎng)者獨(dú)自走開(kāi)了。愛(ài)問(wèn)知識(shí)老人：“幫我的那個(gè)人是誰(shuí)?”“他是時(shí)間。”知識(shí)老人答道。“時(shí)間?”愛(ài)問(wèn)道，“為什么他要幫我?”知識(shí)老人笑道：“因?yàn)橹挥袝r(shí)間才能理解愛(ài)有多么偉大。”
