奈飛的一封“威脅信”刷爆外網(wǎng)，風(fēng)格很小清新

A cease-and-desist letter is no laughing matter - unless, apparently, it's been sent by Netflix .

一份禁令可不是開玩笑的事情——除非是奈非(Netflix)發(fā)出的禁令。

While hugely successful and uber-wealthy organisations tend not to go too much to town with the "hope you're wells" and kisses in the sign-off, Netflix are clearly an entertainment company with a difference.

多數(shù)成功又有錢的公司不會(huì)給用戶發(fā)出“祝你平安”且結(jié)尾附有吻痕的信件，但是奈非顯然是家與眾不同的娛樂公司。

As one pop-up bar in Chicago recently discovered.

Like millions of others, the folk behind The Upside Down bar are clearly fans of the Netflix-original drama, Stranger Things.

吧主和很多人一樣是奈非推出的原創(chuàng)劇《怪奇物語(yǔ)》(Stranger Things)的粉絲。

So much so, it was the theme behind their (unauthorised) pop-up bar. Granted, it looks amazing, but sadly there are some intellectual property issues too.

問題的源頭在于這個(gè)臨時(shí)升降吧臺(tái)的主題未得到官方許可經(jīng)營(yíng)。雖然它看上去很酷，但是不幸的是其中牽涉了一些知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)問題。

So they received this letter.

因此，他們收到了奈飛的信。

It begins chummily enough: "My walkie-talkie is busted so I had to write this note instead. I heard you launched a Stranger Things pop-up bar at your Logan Square location.

開頭非常親切：“我的電話壞了，所以寫了這份信。聽說您在洛根廣場(chǎng)(Logan Square)放置了一個(gè)播放《怪奇物語(yǔ)》的吧臺(tái)。

 

 

"Look, I don't want you to think I'm a total wastoid, and I love how much you guys love the show.

"(Just wait until you see Season 2!) But unless I'm living in the Upside Down, I don't think we did a deal with you for this pop-up.

(在第二季播出前等等好嗎!)但是鑒于我不是吧主，我想奈非沒有和你們這樣的吧臺(tái)達(dá)成協(xié)議吧?

"You're obviously creative types, so I'm sure you can appreciate that it's important to us to have a say in how our fans encounter the worlds we build."

我欣賞你們的創(chuàng)造力，也相信你們能理解，在奈飛為粉絲推出的劇這件事上，我們是有話語(yǔ)權(quán)的。”

The lawyer - clearly a Stranger Things enthusiast - sugars the pill by allowing the bar to see it out its run.

奈飛的律師顯然也是《怪奇物語(yǔ)》的粉絲，沒有敞開天窗說亮話，而是允許吧主運(yùn)營(yíng)。

"We're not going to go full Dr. Brenner on you, but we ask that you please (1) not extend the pop-up beyond its 6 week run ending in September, and (2) reach out to us for permission if you plan to do something like this again.“

我們不會(huì)起訴你，但是請(qǐng)你做到以下幾點(diǎn)：到9月底，請(qǐng)停止臨時(shí)已經(jīng)運(yùn)營(yíng)了六周的吧臺(tái)。如果你還想做類似的事情，告知我們，經(jīng)過允許再做好嗎?

"Let me know as soon as possible that you agree to these requests. We love our fans more than anything, but you should know that the demogorgon is not always as forgiving. So please don't make us call your mom."
