The Molly's Game actress, 46, was at the 71st San Sebastián International Film Festival on Wednesday to promote her new movie, Memory, a drama that also stars Peter Sarsgaard and Merritt Wever.

The new drama — which Franco also wrote and produced — tells the story of Sylvia (Chastain), a social worker who lives a simple life with her daughter until an encounter with a former classmate has far-reaching consequences for both of them, according to the film's official synopsis.

Franco and Chastain recently attended the Toronto International Film Festival to promote Memory. At that event, Franco told IndieWire that some Hollywood industry people had hinted that Chastain may be difficult to work with after her 2022 best actress Oscar win for The Eyes of Tammy Faye.
