Allison Holker Boss isn't closed off to finding love in the wake of her late husband Stephen "tWitch" Boss' death.
On Thursday's episode of Nick Viall's The Viall Files podcast, the So You Think You Can Dance alum, 35, acknowledged that her love life has become a "hot topic" after her husband's death in December 2022.
As she continued to grieve and work through her emotions, Allison said she needed to "learn to love myself," but also find answers as to whether or not she could "like someone else again."
When that question seemed like a real possibility, the professional dancer said she then wondered if she could "love someone else again while I still like someone and love someone else."
"It's a very complex situation I found myself in," she told host Nick Viall, noting that her outlook on life made it harder for her come to terms with moving forward. "It took me a long time to accept all of those things and those complexities of everything. But at the end of the day, I love life. So would I shy away from it?"
Though she isn't actively searching for someone special, Allison explained that she was a "lover of life and experience and adventure."
"I still find that the world is such a beautiful place and there's so much to be experienced. So to what kind of capacity? What that looks like? I don't know. But I'm definitely not shying away from it," she explained. "It's just, life to me is life, and I just think it's here to be experienced."
"Life and love is just something that I've always believed in," she added.
While Allison doesn't want to close herself off to any possibilities, she confessed she "had so many dark spaces I was in, that I had to be in for so many different reasons, and I had to work through all these different processes of all these different things."
"But, I have," she confirmed. "I've worked through 'em ... you know, we'll see what happens."
