今天我們要學(xué)的詞是 clarion.

Clarion 是指中世紀(jì)時期的一種銅號，因在戰(zhàn)場上使用而引申為號角的意思。 Clarion常與call連用，意思是號召： Nobel laureates and experts, in a clarion call on Sunday, urged governments to promote active aging to ease the burden on social security systems. 諾貝爾獎得主和專家們星期日發(fā)出號召，呼吁政府推動積極老齡化，以減輕社會保障體系的負(fù)擔(dān)。
