Good training is crucial for any company, big or small. How can we expect people to do a good job if they don't have the right knowledge, skills, and tools? Providing employees with these tools is a keyfunction of training. 好的培訓(xùn)對于任何或大或小的公司都至關(guān)重要。如果沒有正確的知識,技能和工具,我們怎么能期待他把工作做好呢?給職員們這樣的工具是培訓(xùn)的主要功能。
And training is what we'll be talking about today. We'll be looking at some important vocabulary and collocations related to training. Remember, collocations are natural combinations of words that native speakers commonly use. There are no clear rules to collocation, only patterns. When you learn a new word, you should try to learn what other words are used with it. For example, you might think that "crime" is a useful word to know, but it will be difficult to use it if you don't know that we usually use the verb "commit" before it, as in: "commit a crime."
In the last episode, you heard many useful training collocations. We listened to Jeff, who works in HR at an engineering firm, talk with David, who has just given a presentation on new approaches to training. We heard Jeff explain how his company wants to improve their learning and development program. Today, David will explain more about learner-centered training. 在上一集中,你聽到了很多有用的培訓(xùn)的搭配。我們聽到了在工程公司人事部門工作的杰夫,他和剛剛就培訓(xùn)新方法做完陳述的大衛(wèi)談?wù)?。我們聽到杰夫解釋他的公司是多么需要提高他們的學(xué)習(xí)和發(fā)展項(xiàng)目。今天,大衛(wèi)將繼續(xù)解釋更多的有關(guān)學(xué)習(xí)者為中心的培訓(xùn)。
