Dad, there was a dance at school last month,

爸爸 上個(gè)月學(xué)校有一場(chǎng)舞會(huì)

and I didn't go.

我沒(méi)去

There'll be another one next Friday night.

下周五晚上會(huì)有另外一場(chǎng)舞會(huì)

Can I go?

我能去嗎

Who'll be at the dance?

舞會(huì)上會(huì)有誰(shuí)啊

It'll be a school event.

這會(huì)是一次校園活動(dòng)

There will be some French students,

會(huì)有一些法國(guó)學(xué)生

but there won't be any outsiders.

但不會(huì)有任何外人

And our teachers will be there, too.

我們老師也會(huì)在那兒

That sounds reasonable.

聽(tīng)起來(lái)挺合理的

What time will it start?

舞會(huì)幾點(diǎn)開(kāi)始

At half past seven.

七點(diǎn)半

And how long will it last?

它將持續(xù)多長(zhǎng)時(shí)間

For two and a half hours.

兩個(gè)半小時(shí)

It'll finish at 10.

會(huì)在10點(diǎn)結(jié)束

All right, Lucy.

好的 露西

Your mother will take you there, and I'll pick you up.

Be at the school gates at 10 o'clock sharp.
