Imagine, if you will, a gift. I'd you picture in you mind. 請(qǐng)想象一份禮物，請(qǐng)你們?cè)谀X海中構(gòu)想一下。

It's not too big. About the size of a golf ball.不是很大，大概高爾夫球般大小。

This gift came to me about five months ago. 大概5個(gè)月前，我收到了這份禮物。

And looked more like this when it was all wrapped up. Not quite so pretty. 包裹起來(lái)的話(huà)，大概是這個(gè)樣子。沒(méi)那么漂亮。

And this. And then this(A picture after operation). 之后是這個(gè)，還有這個(gè)。

It was a rare jam. A brain tumor. Hemangioblastoma. 一個(gè)罕見(jiàn)的麻煩，一顆腦瘤，成血管細(xì)胞瘤。

The gift that keeps on giving. And while I'm ok now. 這禮物一直在影響著我，現(xiàn)在我已無(wú)大礙了。

I wouldn't wish this gift for you. I'm not sure you'd want it. But I wouldn't change my experience. It profoundly alterned my life in ways it didn't expect. In all the ways I just shared with you. 我不希望這份禮物降臨于你，因?yàn)槲也淮_定你是否想得到。但是我不渴望改變過(guò)去。它突如其來(lái)，徹底改變了我的生活，帶來(lái)了以上所述的那些改變。
