　　1. 解詞釋義

　　Third wheel就是馬車(chē)的一根軸子上裝了三個(gè)輪子，是多余的。因此，借之比喻為“礙手礙腳的人”“不合時(shí)宜的人”，也就是我們中文中說(shuō)的“電燈泡”的意思。

　　2. 拓展例句

　　Well . . . sometimes when I'm with Justin and Lisa, I feel like a third wheel .

　　嗯...... 我跟賈斯汀和麗莎在一起的時(shí)候，有時(shí)候我覺(jué)得自己像電燈泡。

　　Ps：on ahead是副詞性短語(yǔ)，意思是“搶先”“提前”。與動(dòng)詞go連用表示“先走”的意思。例如：

　　You walk on ahead. I shall soon catch you up.

　　你在前面先走，我很快就會(huì)趕上你。

　　You go on ahead; I'll catch you up in a few minutes.

　　你繼續(xù)向前走， 過(guò)幾分鐘我會(huì)趕上你的。

　　Ps 2：go ahead的意思是“前進(jìn)，進(jìn)行”。例如：

　　去吧，把紅蘋(píng)果買(mǎi)回來(lái)儲(chǔ)存，之后你或許會(huì)感謝媽媽的。

　　Ps 3：have an engagement with sb的意思是“與某人約會(huì)”。例如：

　　Well, I have an engagement with a friend upstairs. I'll leave you. So long.
