　　1. 解詞釋義

　　As pleased as punch是用來形容一個人十分高興，開心的樣子。它起源于英國17世紀風靡至今的傳統(tǒng)木偶劇《Punch and Judy》。在劇中，Judy的丈夫Punch是一個非常喜歡惹是生非的人，經(jīng)常策劃陰謀。他把時間都用在計劃一系列的邪惡事件上，當他的陰謀得逞后，他就會大搖大擺地炫耀自己。因此，as pleased aspunch就表示“十分高興”，尤其是指“自滿”。
