6 老卡車司機(jī)
An old truck driver was eating in a bar when threevery large, leathered bikers walked in with theirhelmets in hands. The first walked up to the old man,inserted his cigarette into the old man's bacon pieand then took a seat at the counter. The secondwalked up to the old man, spat into the old man'slemon juice and noodles, and then he also took aseat at the counter. The third walked up to the oldman, turned over the old man's saucer and then hetook a seat at the counter.
一個(gè)老卡車司機(jī)正在就把吃飯,這時(shí)三個(gè)身材高大、穿著皮衣的騎摩托車的人,手里拿著頭盔走了進(jìn)來。第一個(gè)走到老人面前,把他的煙頭塞進(jìn)了老人的熏肉餡餅里,然后在柜臺(tái)前坐了下來。第二個(gè)人也走到老人眼前,在老人的檸檬汁和面條里吐了口唾沫,也在柜臺(tái)前坐下。第三個(gè)人走到老人面前,把老人的托盤扣過來,也在柜臺(tái)前坐下。
Without any action of protection the passive old man quietly left the diner. Shortly thereafter,one of the bikers said to the waitress, “Humph, not much of a man, was he?”
這個(gè)順和的老人一點(diǎn)也沒有反抗,平靜地離開了餐廳。老人離開后不久,其中一個(gè)騎摩托車的人歲服務(wù)員說,“哼,一點(diǎn)都不像男人,對(duì)嗎?”
The waitress replied, “Not much of a truck driver either, he just backed his truck over threemotorcycles.”
服務(wù)員回答:“也一點(diǎn)不像是卡車司機(jī)。他剛剛把他的卡車從三輛摩托車上倒過去了。”
