32 繩子還是公牛?
A man was put into the jail because of murder . Inthe prison he asked a new comer why he was sentthere. The new comer answered: "I am out of luck Ithink. A few days ago I thought the watermelonshould be irrigated . When I was on the way to thefield I saw a piece of dirty rope by the pine. I thoughtnobody wanted it and so I picked it up and took ithome."
一個(gè)人因謀殺罪被關(guān)進(jìn)牢房。在監(jiān)獄里,他問新來的犯人為什么被關(guān)進(jìn)來。新來的犯人回答說:“我想我真是倒霉。幾天前我覺得西瓜該澆水了,在去田里的路上,我在池塘邊看到一根臟繩子,以為沒人要了,便撿起來帶了回家。”
"But it is not against the criminal law of the federal government to pick up a piece of rope andtake home!"
“但是,撿一根繩子并沒有觸犯聯(lián)邦政府的刑法啊!”
"I told you I had bad luck, didn't I?" The man sighed.
“我告訴過你我倒霉了吧?”那個(gè)人嘆了口氣。
"Why didn’t you ask a lawyer to defended."
“那你怎么沒找律師為你辯護(hù)呢?”
"The trouble is that I didn't notice there was an ox at the other terminal of that rope."
“麻煩的就是我當(dāng)時(shí)沒有注意到繩子的那一頭還有一頭公牛。”
