Reaching the end of a job interview, the HumanResources Person asked a young engineer fresh outof MIT, "What starting salary were you looking for?"
一個(gè)剛從麻省理工學(xué)院畢業(yè)的年輕的工程師去一家公司應(yīng)聘,面試進(jìn)行到了最后,人力資源部的面試人員問(wèn)他:“你期望的起薪是多少?”
The engineer replied, "In the neighborhood of$150,000 a year, depending on the benefits package."
他說(shuō):“年薪15萬(wàn)左右吧,還要看公司的其他福利政策。”
The interviewer said, "Well, what would you say to a package of 5 weeks vacation, 14 paidholidays, full medical and dental, company matching retirement fund to 50% of salary, and acompany car leased every 2 years?"
面試官說(shuō):“那么,五周休假,兩周帶薪年假,醫(yī)藥費(fèi)全包,退休金基金由公司出一半,每?jī)赡曜饨枰惠v公司的車給你,你覺(jué)得這些福利政策怎么樣?”
The young man sat up straight and said, "Wow! Are you kidding?"
年輕人坐直身子,說(shuō):“天哪!你不是在開(kāi)玩笑吧?”
The interviewer replied, "Well, yeah, but you started it."
面試官答道:“我是在開(kāi)玩笑,不過(guò),這個(gè)玩笑是你起的頭!”
