[00:02.25]From 1912, Einstein began to study the science

[00:09.94]In 1921, he received the Nobel Prize
[00:13.53]for his research work.Besides the Nobel Prize,
[00:18.65]Einstein was also awarded the Copley Medal
[00:22.46]of the Royal Society in 1925
[00:26.92]and the Gold Medal
[00:28.60]of the Royal Astronomical Society in 1926.

[00:37.87]Einstein also worked hard to spread the message

[00:44.87]In 1944, he was able to raise
[00:48.35]six million dollars for peace
[00:51.34]by handwriting his 1905 research paper
[00:55.82]on space and time and putting it up for auction
[01:00.40]That paper is now kept
[01:02.67]at the Library of Congress in the USA.
[01:07.16]One week before Einstein died,
[01:09.89]he sent a leter to Bertrand Russell,
[01:12.66]the famous philosopher,
[01:14.84]in which he asked all countries
[01:16.97]to give up unclear weapons.
[01:20.04]At 4 pm on April 18th, 1955,
[01:25.14]Einstein died in New Jersey, America.
