林布蘭博物館

Kathy and Evan visit Rembrandt's house, a national museum.

凱西和艾凡參觀國(guó)立林布蘭博物館。

E:Here we are! That didn't take so long. Everything's so close here. City Hall is just down the street, and the zoo is only a kilometer away.

艾凡：到了!并沒(méi)有花很久時(shí)間嘛。這里每個(gè)地方都很近。市政廳就在這條路不遠(yuǎn)的地方，而動(dòng)物園離這里只有一公里遠(yuǎn)。

K:Maybe we can visit the zoo tomorrow. Now, let's go inside Rembrandt's House and take a look.

凱西：也許明天我們可以去參觀動(dòng)物園。現(xiàn)在咱們到林布蘭博物館里看看吧。

E:I didn't know you were into art.

艾凡：我不知道你對(duì)藝術(shù)有興趣。

K:Oh, yes. I love painting. I took a couple of courses in art appreciation in high school and college.

凱西：哦，沒(méi)錯(cuò)。我喜愛(ài)繪畫(huà)。在中學(xué)和大學(xué)時(shí)我修過(guò)幾堂藝術(shù)欣賞的課程。

E:That's nice. Do you paint?

K:No, but I'd love to. Maybe later. But I'm crazy about Rembrandt and the other 17th century Dutch painters. They and the Italians were among the first to master color, lighting, and portrait painting.

凱西：不會(huì)，但我很想畫(huà)?；蛟S以后吧。我非常喜歡林布蘭和其它十七世紀(jì)荷蘭畫(huà)家。他們和當(dāng)時(shí)的意大利畫(huà)家一樣都是最早一批專(zhuān)精色彩、明暗和肖像畫(huà)的畫(huà)家。

E:Wow! You really know your art, don't you?

艾凡：哇!你真的很懂藝術(shù)，不是嗎?

K:Just a little. But I really love Rembrandt. His paintings speak to us as clearly today as they did 350 years ago. He was a real genius, in my opinion.

凱西：只懂一點(diǎn)皮毛。但我真的很喜歡林布蘭。他的畫(huà)作歷經(jīng)三百五十年而不衰。依我之見(jiàn)，他是個(gè)真正的天才。
