　　rub it in直譯過(guò)來(lái)就是：“反復(fù)摩擦它的里面”，這個(gè)短語(yǔ)的正確意思是：“火上澆油，故意觸人痛處”。因此，當(dāng)美國(guó)人說(shuō)"You don't have to rub it in. I already feel bad enough as it is."時(shí)，他/她要表達(dá)的意思就是:"Don't pile on. I've felt bad enough."、"You make it worse, and I am upset enough."。
