第十七章 謂語 謂語的類型

　　謂語大體上可以分為兩類：

　　1 .簡單謂語(simple Predicate )

　　簡單謂語由一個動詞(包括成語動詞)構(gòu)成，不管是什么時態(tài)、語態(tài)和語氣，都是簡單謂語：

　　Don't stand on ceremony .別客氣

　　Do you want a bottle or a can ?你要一瓶還是一罐?

　　We've been looking forward to this dag .我們一直盼望著這一天。

　　The measure has been approved .這項措施己被批準。

　　I applied for the job but they turned down my application because I didn't know German .

　　我申請那份工作，但他們沒接受我的申請，因為我不懂德語。

　　2 .復合謂語(Compound Predicate ) :

　　復合謂語多由兩部分構(gòu)成，一類由一個系動詞加一個不定式(帶to 或不帶to )構(gòu)成(a ) ，一類由系動詞加表語構(gòu)成(b ) :

　　a .

　　Maybe wrong .我可能是錯的。

　　You'll have to be careful .你得小心。

　　She seem to have lost her confidenCe .她似乎己失去了信心。

　　b.

　　Many years he remained single .許多年他一直是單身。

　　That's my view .這是我的看法。

　　These flowers smell nice .這些花很香。

　　This sound a good idea .這聽起來是一個好主意。

　　有些謂語介乎兩者樣間：

　　She returned a mother of three children .她回時已是三個孩子的媽媽了。
