We`re starting in Boston, Massachusetts, though, where the fate of a Boston marathon terrorist bomber is in the hands of a jury.

首先我們今天的新聞來(lái)說(shuō)馬薩諸塞州的波士頓，波士頓爆炸案的襲擊者的命運(yùn)現(xiàn)在掌握在陪審團(tuán)手中。

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, he`s already been found guilty of 30 counts. They include an act of terrorism involving weapons of mass destruction which happened at the Boston marathon on April 15th, 2013. The counts include the murders of four people and the injuries of hundreds more. Seventeen counts carry a possible death sentence.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev目前已經(jīng)被指控30項(xiàng)罪名。其中包括在2013年4月15日波士頓馬拉松爆炸案中使用大規(guī)模殺傷性武器。該起爆炸案造成包括謀殺者在內(nèi)的4人死亡還有數(shù)百人受傷。其中17項(xiàng)罪名可能被判處死刑。

Prosecutors argued that Tsarnaev was a remorseless terrorist worthy of the death penalty, while the defense said he was repentant and deserves to be spared. Jurors have to unanimously agree to return a death sentence. Otherwise, Tsarnaev will spend the rest of his life in prison without parole.

檢察官認(rèn)為Tsarnaev是一位無(wú)情的恐怖主義者應(yīng)該實(shí)行死刑，而其辯護(hù)律師稱他現(xiàn)在已知道悔改應(yīng)該給他一次集會(huì)。陪審團(tuán)一致認(rèn)為應(yīng)該判處Tsarnaev死刑。否則，Tsarnaev將會(huì)在監(jiān)獄中度過(guò)他余下的一生，并且沒(méi)有假釋。
