　　The Scorching Summer Heat

　　夏日炎炎

　　Monty: Hey Dreck, how are you doing?

　　Monty: 嘿，Dreck。 你干什么呢?

　　Dreck: Hey Monty! It’s nice to hear from you. Tell me what’s up!

　　Dreck: 嘿，Monty !最近怎么樣!

　　Monty: Well, I just wanted to tell you that we’ll be visiting you this weekend.

　　Monty: 挺好，我想跟你說(shuō)我們這周末會(huì)去看你。

　　Dreck: That’s great! How did you suddenly decide to see me?

　　Dreck: 太棒了!你怎么突然決定要來(lái)看我?

　　Monty: Well, the kids really want to visit their uncle, and Jody wants to see how you’re doing.

　　Monty: 嗯，孩子真的很想看看他們的叔叔，Jody想看看你在忙什么。

　　Dreck: You sure did pick the right time. The weather is awesome over here. It’s sunny and breezy.

　　Dreck: 你們可真會(huì)選時(shí)間，這兒的天氣棒極了，天氣晴朗，微風(fēng)習(xí)習(xí)。

　　Monty : Good to know that. It’s not so good in here. It’s been raining non-stop since three days.

　　Monty: 太好了，我們這兒天氣就沒(méi)那么好，連著三天不停的下雨。

　　Let’s Go to a Warmer Place

　　我們?nèi)€(gè)暖和點(diǎn)的地方吧

　　Kety: It’s so cold in here!

　　Kety:這兒太冷了!

　　Dreck: I know. I am freezing. Gawd! I hate winter!

　　Dreck:我知道，我要凍僵了。Gawd!我討厭冬天!

　　Kety: Do you think it’s going to get warmer soon?

　　Kety:你知道天氣快要轉(zhuǎn)暖了嗎?

　　Dreck: I don’t know. The weather report is saying it’s actually supposed to get colder .

　　Dreck:我不知道。天氣預(yù)報(bào)上說(shuō)天氣應(yīng)該更冷。

　　Kety: I think I will die if it gets any colder!

　　Kety:我想要是再冷點(diǎn)我就要冷死了。

　　Dreck: Oh come on! Our ancestors survived winters like these without any heating.

　　Dreck:哦，少來(lái)了!像這樣的天氣，我們的祖先在沒(méi)有暖氣的情況下都活過(guò)來(lái)了。

　　The weather is nice

　　天氣真好

　　Katy: It’s such pretty weather outside. Isn’t it?

　　Katy:外面天氣真不錯(cuò)，不是嗎?

　　Sam: Yes, it is indeed.

　　Sam: 是啊，真不錯(cuò)。

　　Katy: Let’s go out somewhere.

　　Katy:我去外邊轉(zhuǎn)轉(zhuǎn)吧。

　　Sam: That’s a great idea! But, where do you think we should go?

　　Sam: 好主意!可是，你覺(jué)得我們?nèi)ツ膬耗?

　　Katy: Let’s go for a long drive.

　　Katy:開(kāi)車(chē)去遠(yuǎn)點(diǎn)的地方。

　　Sam: What if it starts to rain?

　　Sam: 要是開(kāi)始下雨了呢?

　　Kety: The sky looks clean. I don’t think it will rain today.

　　Katy:天空如此明凈，我覺(jué)得今天不會(huì)下雨。

　　Weather Forecast

　　天氣預(yù)報(bào)

　　Sam: It hasn’t rained today. I have to go out. Do you think I should take my umbrella?

　　Sam: 今天還沒(méi)下雨，我得出去了。你說(shuō)我用不用帶把傘?

　　Dreck: I think you should. The weatherman said it might rain today on the tv.

　　Dreck :我覺(jué)得得帶。電視上天氣預(yù)報(bào)員說(shuō)今天可能會(huì)下雨。

　　Sam: In that case I am sure I won’t need my umbrella.

　　Sam: 如果是那樣的話，我就不用帶傘了。

　　Dreck: Why not?

　　Dreck :為什么不帶?

　　Sam: The weatherman said it wouldn’t rain yesterday and it rained. Today he is saying it will rain, so it most certainly won’t.

　　Sam: 天氣預(yù)報(bào)員昨天說(shuō)不下雨，結(jié)果下雨了。今天說(shuō)下雨，那就肯定下不了雨。

　　Dreck : Your have amazing logic Sam, but take the umbrella anyway.

　　Dreck :Sam,你的邏輯真神奇，不管怎么說(shuō)，帶上傘吧。
