Astrology is an ancient practice, and appears to have its origins in Chaldea, thousands of years B.C. By 700 B.C., the Zodiac was established. A few centuries later, the Signs of the Zodiac were very similar to the current ones.

占星學(xué)的出現(xiàn)由來(lái)已久，貌似可以追溯到公元前數(shù)千年之前的卡拉迪亞王國(guó)。到公元前700年，十二宮圖已經(jīng)形成，并在幾世紀(jì)之后，發(fā)展出了與現(xiàn)行相似的符號(hào)標(biāo)記。

According to astrology, mankind are not only influenced by hereditary(遺傳的)factors and the environment, but also by the state of our solar system at the moment of birth. The planets are regarded as basic life-forces, the tools we live by, as well as the basis of our very substance. These planetary forces take on different forms, depending on their zodiacal positions and on the way they relate to one another.

依據(jù)占星學(xué)，人類不僅受到遺傳因素以及環(huán)境的影響，還受其出生時(shí)太陽(yáng)系所處的狀態(tài)的影響。行星被看做是生命之本，是人類賴以生存的條件和物質(zhì)基礎(chǔ)。行星對(duì)人類的作用以不同的形式表現(xiàn)出來(lái)，受其黃道帶位置及其與其他行星間的關(guān)系的影響。

One popular classification of the Signs of the Zodiac is elements(象)， which are also known as triplicities(“三位一體”) and speak to the basic nature and temperament of a sign. There are four elements and their corresponding signs are Fire(Aries, Leo and Sagittarius), Earth(Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn), Air (Gemini , Libra and Aquarius) and Water (Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces).

一種流行的星座分類被稱之為"象"，也被稱為"三位一體"。它描述了一種星座最根本的特質(zhì)以及性情。十二星座共分為四個(gè)"象"?；鹣笮亲ò籽蜃?、獅子 座和射手座;地象星座包括金牛座、處女座和魔揭座;風(fēng)象星座包括雙子座、天秤座和水瓶座;水象星座則包括巨蟹座、天蝠座和雙魚座。
