They walk past the park, past the tennis courts and past the church.
他們路過(guò)公園、網(wǎng)球場(chǎng)和教堂。
Then they walk down a country road.
然后他們朝一個(gè)鄉(xiāng)間小路向下走去。
At the end of the road they see an old cemetery.
在路的盡頭，他們看到了一片古老的墓地。
"This is the oldest cemetery in Salem," says Bill.
“這是塞勒姆最老的墓地，”比爾說(shuō)。
They enter the old cemetery.
他們進(jìn)入了墓地。
"Look at the dates on the tombstones. This one says September 22, 1692," says Megan.
“看了看墓碑上的日期。這個(gè)寫(xiě)著1692年9月22號(hào)，”梅格恩說(shuō)。
"This one says September 22, 1692, too," says Kelly.
“這個(gè)也寫(xiě)著1692年9月22號(hào)，”凱麗說(shuō)。
"Here's another tombstone with the same date, September 22, 1692," says Nick.
“這里的另一個(gè)墓碑也是同樣的日期，1692年9月22號(hào)，”尼克說(shuō)。
They look at a lot of tombstones.
他們看到了很多墓碑。
"These are probably the tombstones of the Salem witches," says Bill.
“這些可能是塞勒姆女巫的墓碑，”比爾說(shuō)。
"How spooky! Let's go now!" says Susan.
“太令人毛骨悚然了!我們現(xiàn)在還是回去吧!”蘇珊說(shuō)。
The five friends run to the country road.
五個(gè)朋友跑向了那條鄉(xiāng)村道路。
Then they walk for a few minutes.
然后他們走了幾分鐘。
At the end of the road they see an old, abandoned house. It is near a forest.
在路的盡頭，他們看到了一座古老的、被遺棄的房子。靠近森林。
There is a rose bush near the door.
門旁有玫瑰叢。
"This is the house for our party," says Bill.
“只是我們聚會(huì)的房子，”比爾說(shuō)。
His friends are very surprised.
他的朋友都很驚訝。
They look at the house.
他們看著這座房子。
"Wow! Is this a haunted house?" Nick asks.
“哇!這是會(huì)鬧鬼的房子嗎?”尼克問(wèn)。
Bill laughs. "This is a very old house from the 1650s.
比爾笑了。“這是一座16世紀(jì)50年代非常古老的房子。
Poor people sometimes live in it but then they go away. It's abandoned.
窮人們有時(shí)候住在這里，但是現(xiàn)在他們走了。它被遺棄了。
There is no electricity."
這里沒(méi)有電。”
"Why is it abandoned?" asks Nick
“為什么被遺棄了?”尼克問(wèn)。
"They say strange things happen here.
“他們說(shuō)這里發(fā)生過(guò)奇怪的事情。
It's the perfect place for a spooky party.
這是舉辦令人毛骨悚然的聚會(huì)的好地方。
Remember, ghost don't exist," Bill says.
記住，不存在鬼，”比爾說(shuō)。
"Are you sure?" asks Kelly.
“你確定嗎?”凱麗問(wèn)。
The five friends look at each other.
五個(gè)朋友相互看了看。
"There is something strange about this place," says Nick.
“這個(gè)地方有些奇怪，”尼克說(shuō)。
