This poem is about someone whom I deeply caredabout. The feelings were never returned, but Ilearned that with or without his love, I could make itand always remain strong and happy.

這首詩(shī)是關(guān)于一個(gè)我非常關(guān)心的人。感覺(jué)再也沒(méi)有回來(lái),但我知道有或沒(méi)有他的愛(ài),我可以讓它一直保持強(qiáng)大和快樂(lè)。

I Learn To Be Strong

我學(xué)會(huì)堅(jiān)強(qiáng)

Words of wisdom come to my ears,

智慧之語(yǔ)穿過(guò)我的耳朵，

Telling me what I know in my heart,

告訴我一些我心中早已明白，

But never wanted to hear.

卻不愿去相信的一番話。

With the truth finally said and out in the open for me to plainly see,

當(dāng)真言終于被道出，并展現(xiàn)于我面前，

I wonder why I can love so deeply but never had that love returned back to me. I confessed thefeelings that I held inside for so long,

使我不得不現(xiàn)實(shí)地面對(duì)時(shí)，我問(wèn)自己為什么我會(huì)愛(ài)得如此深切，而那愛(ài)情卻從未走向我。

But with his soft- hearted rejection, I realize I have to be strong.

我坦然告白埋藏于心中已久的那份情感，但在他溫柔的宛然拒絕聲中，我認(rèn)識(shí)到我必須堅(jiān)強(qiáng)。

With tears that want to flow from my eyes, I feel that my heart, along with my composure,slowly dies.

當(dāng)眼淚欲奪眶而出時(shí)，我感覺(jué)到我的心在沉靜中慢慢熄滅。

While this dramatic side is showing through with my ability to question and reason,

這時(shí)，一個(gè)堅(jiān)強(qiáng)的聲音伴隨著我理智的思考再現(xiàn)，

I think I may have found something in me that I can believe in.

我可能已經(jīng)找到我對(duì)自己的信心。

Love hurts . . .

愛(ài)情痛心…

That's what they all say, but I will love again when all this pain and sorrow goes away.

人們都這樣說(shuō)，但是當(dāng)所有這些傷與痛消卻之時(shí)，我要再次去愛(ài)。

So I sit and think of all the things this situation has cost, and I realize that nothing veryimportant has been lost.

于是我坐下來(lái)，思考著所有這一切能帶來(lái)的影響，我驟然發(fā)現(xiàn)原來(lái)自己并沒(méi)有失去任何重要的東西。

Instead, a learning experience has come from all this. I've learned that hardly anything is moreimportant than my happiness.

相反，我從中收獲了經(jīng)驗(yàn)和智慧，我已經(jīng)明白：生活中沒(méi)有任何事情比自身的快樂(lè)更重要。
