Mike: I like the look of that pair over there. What doyou think?

麥克：我喜歡那邊的那雙鞋。你覺(jué)得它怎么樣?

Amanda: The leather pair? Good choice. Leathershoes allow your feet to breathe, so they won't get allsweaty and smelly.

阿曼達(dá)：皮質(zhì)的那雙嗎?挺不錯(cuò)。皮質(zhì)的鞋子可以讓你的腳自由呼吸，這樣話(huà)，你的腳就不會(huì)出汗，也不會(huì)發(fā)臭。

Mike: They even have special insoles to support thearches of my feet. That's going to make a bigdifference when I go jogging. Perhaps I won't getcramps so much now.

麥克：這雙鞋還有特制的鞋墊來(lái)支撐我的足弓。這對(duì)我慢跑時(shí)很有好處——也許不會(huì)像現(xiàn)在這樣經(jīng)常抽筋。

Amanda: If you wanted, you could buy the same pair without laces. I'm not a big fan of Velcrostraps though. I think they look ugly.

阿曼達(dá)：如果你看中了，你可以買(mǎi)雙和這雙一樣但沒(méi)有鞋帶的鞋。我不喜歡尼龍搭扣那樣的款式，我覺(jué)得它們太丑陋了。

Mike: Yeah. Me too. Well, I'm going to try them on to see how they feel.

麥克：嗯。我也不喜歡那樣的。好了，我要去試一下，看看感覺(jué)如何。

Amanda: Don't forget to make sure they don't pinch anywhere, or you'll soon be limping alongwith horrible blisters.

阿曼達(dá)：記住，千萬(wàn)不能卡腳， 不然你的腳就會(huì)起泡，走起路來(lái)一瘸一拐。

Mike: They're a bit tight. Could you get me a shoehorn? Oh, and one more thing, could you askhow much they are going to cost me?

麥克：有點(diǎn)緊。幫忙給我找個(gè)鞋拔。對(duì)了，還有一件事，你能幫我問(wèn)一下這雙鞋多少錢(qián)嗎?

Amanda: Do you have a price in mind?

阿曼達(dá)：你心里就沒(méi)個(gè)底兒?jiǎn)?

Mike: Err ... I was thinking of spending about NT$4,000.

麥克：哦……我的預(yù)算大約是新臺(tái)幣4,000元。

Amanda: Wow! You must have struck it rich overnight. How about a less extravagant pair,so you have enough left over to take me out to dinner!

阿曼達(dá)：嘩!你是不是一夜暴富了?能不能買(mǎi)雙便宜點(diǎn)的，剩下的錢(qián)請(qǐng)我吃飯!
