Amanda: Sure. I also scribbled down some thingswe should go and pick up from the supermarketwhen we've got time later.
Mike: Let's not buy that ubiquitous barbeque sauce that people always slather all over theirmeat. I want to try making my own marinades. I could do a sweet one for chicken and a spicyone for the steak. I'll also wrack my brains and see if I can come up with a Moon Festivalcocktail.
Amanda: Great idea. We better get all the ingredients now because at this time of yeareverything sells like hotcakes. One more thing, remind me to get some kind of groundsheet orwe'll end up getting filthy.
Mike: Shall we go to one of the riverside parks rather than brave the hordes in the city?
Amanda: Hmm. I think Angela wants to stay in the city. You know she loves being aroundpeople. I know that's probably not what you had in mind.
Mike: Not at all! The world and his wife will be out barbequing. There'll be screaming kidseverywhere, not to mention all that noxious barbecue smoke. Looks like I'll be spending thewhole evening biting my tongue.
