英國(guó)每日電訊：英國(guó)著名學(xué)府牛津和劍橋大學(xué)可能將學(xué)費(fèi)漲至每年1.6萬(wàn)英鎊。因?yàn)檫@兩所大學(xué)均采取小班教學(xué)方式，所以不難理解，目前每年9000英鎊的學(xué)費(fèi)顯然難以彌補(bǔ)成本。但有人擔(dān)心，高等學(xué)府獲準(zhǔn)漲學(xué)費(fèi)，可能使那些貧困學(xué)生望而卻步。

牛津劍橋?qū)W費(fèi)可能翻番

The Telegraph: Oxford and Cambridge universities could increase fees to ?16,000 (or about 166,400 yuan) a year under new plans expected to appear in the Conservative manifesto.

Both universities are understood to plug gaps in funding themselves to cover the cost of teaching small groups, not apparently covered by the current ?9,000 a year fee.

David Willetts, the former education secretary, said he had held talks with Britain's top universities to discuss if they would want to buy their students' loan debts and collect them. This would mean they could then increase the fees.

He told the Sunday Times: "There is a long standing issue with Ox bridge, because their distinctive high model means that the ?9,000 does not cover all their costs."
