Holly: Taylor, you're looking a little pale. Are you sure you want to hand out nametags?

Taylor: Do I have a choice? You said the guy who was supposed to do it didn't show.

Holly: True. Keep up the good work. [to an arriving guest] Hello, welcome to the reunion of the Class of '93.

Taylor: Just come over here, sir. First you need to sign in and get your photo nametag.

Holly: And don't forget to put in an order for your reunion memory book.

Taylor: Would you like to donate to our alumni fund?

sign-in (a.) 簽到

A: You have to sign in before you come inside.

pale (a.) 蒼白的

He looked really pale after the operation.

他手術(shù)后看起來真的很蒼白。

nametag (n.)(衣服、行李等上的)識(shí)別卡，名牌。「發(fā)識(shí)別卡」就是hand out nametags，而hand out是「發(fā)出」的意思

A: Do we really have to wear nametags?

我們一定要掛識(shí)別牌嗎?

這樣要記大家的名字比較方便。

keep up 保持

donate (v.) 捐獻(xiàn)

alumni fund 校友基金。alumni是alumnus的復(fù)數(shù)形，代表「(男女合校的)校友」

Not much money was given to the alumni fund this year.
